Not a bad offering. Kind of pricey. Poured out to a cloudy tarnished golden colour with high carbonation. Well formed head remained consistant to the bottom of the glass. Aroma of fruits and light sugars were most noted, as was alcohol, being as it has a rather high ABV. Very good mouthfeel, with a smoothness that was crisp and direct, with the carbonation making tastebuds come alive and pay attention. Flavor was quite spicy, with a strong complexity of pears, bananas and grapefruit. Very complex beer. Finished well, with a sour-like aftertaste. Not a bad beer at all. As far as Tripels go, this is probably the best I have had. Recommended.
