A: Pours a hazy golden with a beautiful one-inch head. Excellent lacing.
S: A rather subdued, sweet smell with mild hops present. Very fresh smell despite coming all the way from Belgium.
T: The taste is outrageously good. This beer has a much higher hop presence than any Belgian I've had before but with the complexity and superb balance I expected. And I can't believe how fresh it tastes despite coming from halfway across the world...very impressive. This beer has a much stronger flavor profile than you'd expect. A simple, yet perfect balance of roasted malts and dry hops that lead to other great suggestions, I don't know what more to say.
M: Belgian beers are the only beers I can stand with a lot of carbonation in them...it just seems to feel right. Very crisp.
D: Watch out, this 9.5% beer will sneak up on you.
