11.2oz bottle poured into a goblet at slightly above cellar temperature. Best before 28/7/12.
A: White two finger head with tight bubbles. Almost crystal clear golden brown body. A crown of lacing graced the top of the goblet.
S: Quite a bit of bready yeast. Some banana, coriander and pepper. Strong fusel alcohol.
T: It’s tougher than usual to pick out individual flavors. Very balanced with the whole experience working in unison. Bready yeast, lots of pepper, some grassy hops, a bit of caramel, lemon, grain, and alcohol.
M: Very smooth. Medium body, very high carb. A touch astringent but the balance of flavors and pleasant carbonation makes drinkability quite high.
O: This was so balanced that it took work to pull the descriptors out of my brain. Certainly a classic constructed by brewers who really know what they’re doing.
