I've been meaning to try this one for a while... can't say for sure what's held me back. Poured into a tulip.
Very typically Belgian tripel - light golden colour with a huge snow-white head and bags of lace. The head never goes away and is easily invigorated with a swirl of the glass. I'm getting a lot of hefeweizen aroma from this one - banana and bubble gum. A little floral hops perhaps but definitely fruity.
Very good flavour - subtle and sweet with a nice finish. I have to try one of these on a 100° Texas summer day. Good mouthfeel, strong carbonation. A very nice beer indeed and one that would be well paired with a dinner course I think.
