A: Pours a slightly cloudy golden straw yellow with a dense two-finger white head that recedes to a thin layer of foam. Nice streams of bubbles rising from the bottom.
S: Heavy on the yeast, some spice, and nice gentle citrusy hops. Also a solid alcohol burn in the nose.
T: Taste is mild sweetness, solid but smooth bitter hoppiness, a LOT of spice, and some alcohol kick in the finish. The flavors are very well balanced, and flow gently together. For my first few sips, it was too cold, and that seemed to isolate the flavors. Much better at ~50 degrees, when some of the more subtle flavors can shine through.
M: A bit too highly carbonated for me. Medium-light body, and feels even lighter in the mouth.
D: Pretty darn drinkable. Quite tasty, good balance of flavors, and decent mouthfeel. Definitely a sipper due to the ABV, but I'd certainly like to have more than one.
