Nice big white head. Color is quite clear light straw. Nice visible carbonation going on.
Smell: yeast, cloves, banana, freshly baked bread. Some earthiness.
Taste: a nice mix of spices and malt up front. Then some yeast, citrus and a light bitterness. More spices, but very complex, not just cloves. Light alcohol taste. Aftertase is a bit bitter (lemonpeel) and a bit earthy.
Mouth: this is quite big, full and clings to the mouth in a good way. Nice medium carbonation. Really good.
Overall this is really good. Much more complex than most in the style. I like it quite cold though, too warm and it gets a bit heavy.

11.2oz bottle, reviewed from notes on 9/27/2012.
Hazy golden amber topped with a perfect fluffy white head. Yeasty phenols on the nose complemented by crisp green apple. On the palate, a faint honey sweetness gives way to a dry finish. The balance is just about perfect. Yeast character is less present than on the nose. Malt profile is faintly cracker-like, the flavor being dominated by fruit notes of apple and pear. Carbonation is vigorous but fine, bordering on creamy, but still within the norm for the style. Overall, more than a great beer - a work of art.

Poured from 11.2oz into a dfh snifter
A: pours a hazy golden orange with a massive three finger head, that takes a long couple of minuets to dissapate. Leavses rings of lacing all the way down the glass.
S: smells nice and fruity, apricots/oranges, lemon...like a delicious apple juice
T: a touch of caramel like sweetness then the citrus and apple like notes, really nice, reminds me of apple cider with some lemon and grapefruit very very tasty.
M: nice and lush with creamy medium carbonation... Great silky velvety mouthfeel.
O: this is an excellent beer, nice and sweet, but not overly so with great fruit notes, and a great mouthfeel, excellent.

Won't try to add too much here given review volume, and tripels are quite difficult to review.
Look is wonderful completely cloudy amber gold. Three finger head
Smell and taste are lemons in the main Belgian yeast as well. Balanced hops on back palate. Integrated and complex flavour.
Delightfully carbonated. Little alcohol warmth.
World class beer.
But you knew that.

A: Nice haed, dissipates quickly with little lacing.
S: Apricot and esters of banana and citrus fruit.
T: Simlar to above. Grapefruit and saison style almost. Alcoholic.
M: High alcohol makes for dry finish. High carbonation.
O: Good fro this type. Tripels not always my favorite.
