A - Autumn brown color, has a reddish tint when held to the light. Color really is fantastic. White, one finger head that dissipates rather quickly. This beer is right in the middle between clear and cloudy. Some carbonation is present. Moderate amount of lacing that does not stick to the glass.
S - Classic. Brown sugar, caramel, dark fruit, fig, plum, malt.
T - Complex. Malty, plum, chocolate. Second wave is a grapey fruitiness that eventually turns into a bitter twang toward the end.
M - Stimulating in a good way. Moderate carbonation, light to moderate stickiness in the palate. The 7% ABV is hidden by a delicate balance of richness and crispness.
O - It's like fine art that you can take out of the fridge and enjoy. I look forward to more of these in the future.
