A: pours with a very frothy head. Seems like the head of a light lager rather than a dubbel, and is rather impermanent. 3.5
S: When the head is big, the smell is pure raspberries and some bread (yeast). It really smells like a fruit beer or kriek with the prominence of the raspberries and blueberries etc. Also some caramel, treacle and bread and butter pudding. Very complex and delicious nose. 5
T: Bread which is met with some dry ethanol. Also some berries and custard from the nose but no sweetness. 4
M: Very light and highly carbonated. 3.5
O: Easily the most enjoyable dubbel I've had to date. The berry and custard flavours are really juicy and vibrant. 4.5
