atmosphere is dark wood and dark earthy colors, minimalist decor. lighting a bit too dark, it's even a bit difficult in some areas to read the menu. music is not too loud and it's more spacious than it looks. lots of good choices, almost two dozen taps and many more by the bottle. bottle selections are sorted by country and the beer menu is descriptive enough and mostly accurate. only two crap beers, high life and pbr. some of the more creative tap offerings are also available via tasters for a buck or so. my only real complaint with the selection is that there are not enough 'summery' beers (have been in july and august) and sessionable offerings. drafts are all served in shaker pints which is a minus for me. belgian bottles and some other continental beers are served in their branded glassware, however. food and many beer selections are reasonably priced.
have been back since, and the food is pretty good. nice beefy, smoky burgers cooked to proper temp. not very big burgers though. the poutin (fries covered with brown gravy and cheese curds) were quite good.
