This place is huge! Modest on the outside, but suprisingly expansive on the inside. I've been to my fair shair of liquor stores in the area and Old Farm definitely surpasses all the rest, especially in service and selection...and of course their prices! If you don't see something you're looking for (which I promise, isn't likely) the owner and his employees will be more than willing to order it for you and keep it for you in the back until you are ready to pick it up. And they are always more than eager to help you take your purchase to your car, something I've never experienced at any other liquor store in Frederick (and I always buy enough stuff where help would be appreciated). And they know their stuff when it comes to beer, liquor, or wine. They can help make great recommendations or pairings when asked. They have some excellent case discounts as well so if you buy in bulk there is no reason to go anywhere else! Overall great place and well worth the drive for me.

With Brewer's Alley only 5-10 minutes away, Team akorsak had to stop after lunch.

Quality: The store is wine-centric but it does offer some beer gems. It is well-lit, impressive with its size of four aisles including one long string of coolers on the far wall. The craft beer singles are to the right on entrance.

Service: I didn't seek out any help until checkout, so it is tough to nail this one down.

Selection: I'm torn. The selection was somewhat depleted (perhaps the effect of the holiday weekend) but what was there was awesome. Immediately on entrance I spied Goose Island Sofie and Brooklyn Sorachi Ace. Both went into my basket. Beyond that, Belgian and English beers dominated the singles. The coolers were domestic-craft oriented. The Sofie and Sorachi Ace alone are worth points but beyond that I didn't see anything that caught my eye.
