Millstream Brewhaus at the Eastern Iowa Airport..
Stopped here for the wait on my flight back to NYC. Eastern Iowa (Cedar Rapids) is a small airport without long waits so you don't have to get here 2 hours early like other airports. Still, a nice place to have.
Small bar, with about ten small tables, four TVs, minimalist beer artwork. 4 Millstream on tap (Iowa Pale, Amber, Stout, Witte) along with many of the larger brewers in bottles and a full bar of wine and liquor as well.
I tried an Iowa Pale, Amber, and Stout, all good to great. Tried the buffalo wings and they were passable but not great. Stick to the beer. This was a football Sunday, the bar was crowded and only one poor girl working for everyone. She did the best she could but was overwhelmed and got short with a few customers. I don't think it's really her fault, they needed to give her some help.
Prices were ok, certainly more expensive than most places in Iowa. Then again I suppose you are in an airport.
Overall, better than your usual sports bar, decent beer and a good place to watch the game. Certainly the best area to be in this small aiprort anyway.

This beer bar opened somewhat recently on the upper level (C Concourse) of the Eastern Iowa airport.
The inside is small with a short bar and a couple high tables. Not much by way of atmosphere aside from a view of the tarmac, waiting area and a couple TVs.
The bar has 4 Millstream beers on tap (Iowa Pale Ale, Schild Brau, Generations White, and Hefe Weissen) as well as about 10 different bottled beers, including another Millstream. Samples are available on request.
The service here is pretty good by airport standards. The server was even kind enough to let me take a couple of unopened bottles with me despite thinking it might be against the rules.
Overall this is one of those "any port in a storm" type places, and I will definitely grab a beer any time I am early enough to have time, which at this airport honestly isn't really necessary.
