Notes/Commercial Description:
This American Cream Ale is very light in color and body and has almost no hop bitterness. Lancelot's is a refreshing brew, from the beginning, when its tangy carbonation hits your tongue, to the finish where its pilsner-esque malt and hop flavors subtly fill your palate.

A solid cream ale. Very well made sample of this overlooked and sometimes poorly represented style. Poured out to a clear golden / yellow color with a small head. Medium carbonation. Aromas of light malt and hops filled the nose, with a hint of sweetness for balance. Taste was good for a beer of this style; flavors of malt, earth, grass and spice were in good harmony together. Mouthfeel was great, as it wasn't watery or weak, but more creamy and velvety than anything else. Good level of drinkability. This is a great example of how Cream Ales should be. Recommended.

Had this one on tap at the actual brewery. Golden in color, with a strong bright white head. Smell is crisp, hints of hops with some fruityness and a little spice. Taste is very nice, not too hoppy, some malty character, fruits and possibly a light clove flavor with the cream coming though at the very end (almost an aftertaste, though not in a bad way). Mouthfeel is rich and creamy, without being too thick. Drinkability is great, this one goes down easy. Being my first cream ale, I'm certainly interested in tasting more after this.

Sampled on-tap at the brewery, this cream ale pours a clear gold with a medium head that recedes quickly leaving some good lace.

The aroma includes some mild, starchy grain and citrus. Moderate wheat characteristics.

The flavor is well balanced with mellow malt and a hint of hops and citrus in the finish. A very mildly flavored brew. Not bland, but mild.

Bubbly effervescent carbonation makes for a light and refreshing mouthfeel. It retains some smoothness as well. Pleasant throughout.
