Dragonmead's signature product! This is the ultimate Belgian style. The very high gravity of this beer is balanced by the smoothness of its finish. Banana and Clove aromas come from the Belgian yeast strain combining with the generous dose of Belgian Candi Sugar. The Saaz hops help to give this beer a balanced bitterness with no noticeable hop aroma.

No bottling date that I could find.

A: Hazy orange pour with a small fizzy tan head. No head retention as it fades out almost instantly. No lacing either.

S: Grassy with plenty of cloves. Sweet grains for a malt base. Spicy, like black pepper. Pretty typical tripel aroma.

T: More of the same. Somewhat grassy up front but with some sweet fruits underneath it. Maybe orange and pear? Heavy grainy sweetness in the middle and through to the finish. Finish is lightly bitter with some touches of black pepper to boot.

M: Medium-heavy body, smooth with a lightly bitter and dry finish.

O: Nice example of a tripel. Flavors are varied and balanced. Bold too but not overpowering or harsh. Nice combination of sweetness, spices and bitterness. Really, just well put together which makes drinkability stand out as well. Nicely done, Dragonmead.

Liquid golden sunshine effervescence. Perfection in a glass. A bubbly, Belgian paradise. Whether in a bottle or from a growler right from the brew pub, Final satisfies that itch you didn't know you had.

Smells and tastes of clove, banana and biscuit as a good tripel should. Make sure to sip and don't worry about carbonation; there's enough to last till the last drop is gone.

This one is my desert island beer.

Great Trippel ale, first I had ever tried and still one of my favorites. I've had from tap and bottle and both are great, recommend if you like trippel ales.
