Carmel, Crystal and Munich malts are combined with choice American two-row malted barley to create this beer named for Detroit's historic community. Four separate additions of hops give this beer a complex taste that can be enjoyed anywhere.

Lightly hazy, pretty amber, creamy, off-white head. Fantastic retention, lasts for a while The nose is of cookie, toffee, caramel and all other things sweet. Full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and supple carbonation. The flavor provides sweet toffee, mild caramel and brown sugar with only a pinch of hop bitterness to temper, but not nullify, the sweet malts. Brown sugar, dark syrup finish.

Clear reddish-brown body and a thin head of small off white bubbles. A hoppy aroma with some fresh red grapes. Some hints of a hop bitterness, but there is some sweetness in there too. Also tasted a hint of alcohol near the long finish as well. Easy to drink.

Enjoyed at the brewery, review is from notes from two weeks prior.Hazy deep amber body with single finger head and decent lacing. Caramel malts and citrus in the aroma but the flavor is simple and watered down with a poor malt backbone. medium body and moderate carbonation. This one lets you down quite a bit. Many better beers at this brewery.

Hazy, reddish amber colour capped by a fine, off-white head that produced a little lace. The aroma was mostly toffee and citrus, with a little aspirin thrown in. Mild bitterness with solid caramel, some toffee, and citrusy hops running through the middle. Medium body and carbonation, light dryness. I really liked the malt/hop combination they have going on here. I'd definitely have another pint.

Nice red color.
Has a little bit of a fruity undertone to it. Has red hues with a creamy colored head. Not to bad fro an american red ale. Much better than drinking something like Killians'red. Had this beer on draft at a beer bar in the Detroit area. I did not drink this at the brewery. Was a decent drinkable beer.
