Not a bad little red... Brown with hints of red mixed in, less than a fingers worth of head that settles to a small ring with no lacing to speak of. Very much on the malt side with hints of caramel and a very light earthy hops. Mid bodied with a light clean finish. If you are looking for a malty red this one is worth giving a try.

Pours a half finger of head on a clear, but dark red colored body.
The aroma is a nice wet grain smell.
The taste is big on the malt side, though not too sweet. There's some caramel and mild lemon bitterness. Nicely balanced.
The texture is smooth with moderate carbonation.
It's a easy drinking brew.

Poured brownish red with no head. Thin white ring and skiff on surface. Dark in center.
Aroma: Caramel malt. Diacetyl.
Taste: Plum raisin and molasses with mossy hops.
Mouthfeel: Moderate, malty but watery.
Overall: Once I got the diacetyl, it was hard to notice other dimensions of character. Seems like it could be a drinkable beer.
