Similar to the Boston location that's located right by North Station. It's a sports bar that caters to twenty-somethings and gets horribly packed during weekends.

The atmosphere is nicer than an Applebee's but not quite as good as a Bennigans; it's ersatz and boring but also clean and predictable. There's about a dozen large TVs playing sports at a reasonable volume, and, thank god, there's no satellite juke box so there's no danger of listening to any Nickelback.

The beer selection is so-so; there's better options a few blocks in each direction (Scratch, Sea Level, Naumkeag, Gulu Gulu, Flying Saucer). Along with a good number of BMC taps, there's also a handful of good locals as well as nationally distributed craft brands like Green Flash, Sam Adams, and Sierra Nevada.

They beers are priced normally and often they'll have good deals. Once they were selling pitchers of Celebration for 12 bucks.

Overall, if you're traveling to Salem for craft beer, you're better off at a halfdozen other places. If you're a young person trying to hook up, then I guess you could give it a try. If, like me, you are a curmudgeonly 30-something, you should probably avoid this place late nights on weekends, but it's not a bad place to grab a quick pint during the early evening.

Nice looking bar with a more then average selection of delicious brews from North Eastern US breweries and Boston area. Waitresses/waiters were very attentive to making sure you had beer and or anything you needed. Very nice and positive waiting staff (no Grumps). Bathroom could use another urinal or two (but what public establishment doesn't).

Beer selection was up my ally. Local and regional beers from our side of the country. They also feature seasonal samplers of 4 of like beers.

Only downside is music to loud. Hard to have conversation.
