Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.
A: A dark reddish brown, mahogany in color. Foamy, creamy light tan head that has lots of staying power.
S: Malted barley scent filled the nose Nicely aromatic.
T: Nice malt aroma transfers into the taste. Really that's what the taste is. And that's not bad. Mild bitterness in the aftertaste which is enjoyable too. What is bad is the bit of metal in the aftertaste.
M: Slightly creamy, but not very full. I would say that it's light feeling with a little bit of substance.
O: A nice beer to drink if you're looking for this style. I think it does more "not offending" than "pleasing", but either way, it's a fairly accessible option in this style that's also pretty good.
