Apearance - Pours nearly opaque. Dark brown edges. Thick, head that doesn't last, minimal lacing.
Nose - Not a whole lot going on here. Roasted grain, no hop presence to speak of.
Palate - Very delicate for a stout. Chocolate and caramel notes are present, but not strong. Fruitier and less dry than expected. Just a hint of sourness.
Mouthfeel - Low carbonation, medium bodied.
Drinkability - Goes down smooth, but easily overlooked. This beer is about subtly.
Overall- I was expecting a bigger, better Guiness. This was not that.
