A: pours a dark non transparent black color with about a quarter inch of tan head that disappears quickly leaving a ring of lace around the edge of the glass and top of the beer
s: strongly roasted coffee and chocolate, bitterness added by the coffee aroma
t: dark chocolate and coffee malts with the same type of bitterness as is present in coffee
m: medium to full bodied beer with little carbonation
overall, this is a decent stout
Serving type: bottle

Appearance: Looks amazing. Thick creamy tan head that lasts forever. Appears black in the glass but slightly translucent with some red noted as well. Unfortunately, looks can be decieving.
Smell: Roasted malt, but its very mild and I'm not picking up much else.
Taste: Same as the nose. Roasted malt flavor, slightly bittersweet, but zero hops.
Mouthfeel: How can a beer that looks so good in the glass be so watery? Thin and boring.
Overall: I'll get this once and a while if there's no other options on tap, because this is still better than the BMC's of the world. Not by much though. I would like to try this in Ireland sometime to compare.
Serving type: nitro-can
