A black opaque liquid topped by a small beige head that leaves some specks of lacing.
A quite good roasted smell that has some coffee to it. The taste also has some of the roastiness maybe some chocolate, but the mouthfeel is very bland for a 'black' beer, even bland for the Spanish average, quite watery if I may.
Overall a good appearence and smell but not well rounded with all that watery sensation.

Had on-tap @ the Twisted Timber, Boise ID. Served in a Rogue pint shaker.
A: Cascading nitro pour, dark opaque body with red highlights, good foamy off-white head, good retention, excellent lace.
S: Muted, grain, metallic, whiff of smoke, faint coffee, malt, sweetness.
T: Follows the nose, muted as well, grainy, malty sweet, dark, hint of roast coffee, lightly metallic/mineral, ghostly smoke.
MF: Creamy, smooth, light-to-medium body, clean finish, no lingering flavors.
O: Not worth the time, very very faint flavors and aromas, artificial at times, and muted by the nitro pour in my opinion.
