Huh for some reason I didn't review (tick) this until now

A - Wow the nitro can looks furious with a snow storm of settling head that finally forums a full inch that looks creamy. Color is black with slight ruby hues on the base of the glass.

S - Actually quite pleasant with a sweet bit of chocolates and a faint touch of roast it smells better than expected "muted" reviews.

T - Watery of course but really mild flavors of roast or coffee. Chocolate is very faint at best only delivering a mild sweetness to counter the dry stout aspects.

M - Light to medium it did drink as well for a stout this light.

Overall I am shocked how little the overall flavor in this to get a B+ but assume that it's pretty light flavors and thin watery body that make it such a world wide stout. I personally will only pick up the extra stout or foreign extra stout from now on.

A - Poured hard into a large pint glass, the surge was beautiful. The color is black with a ruby hue at the bottom when held up to the light, retention was outstanding a tan finger and half head that keeps its lacing all the way to the very bottom of the glass.

S - Really disappointing and mild smelling, a little chocolate and coffee extremely light smell.

T - What I expected from a beer marketed to a broad consumer base, extremely watery with roasted notes, chocolate and coffee finishes with a very very slight bitter aftertaste. All of these flavors feel really watered down but its what I expected and its still enjoyable to drink.

M - Medium bodied, loved the low carbonation was extremely smooth and refreshing.

Small 11oz nitro-can

A- The perfect pour. It is wonderful to see the beer slowly go from muddy chocolate colour to perfectly black, with a huge, dense, creamy white head that shows awesome retention throughout the very last sip

S- Roasted caramel malts with backgorund notes of chocolate and coffee. I'm also detecting a light creamy note that vaguely reminds me of milk

T- The slightest hint of roastiness among a caramel and bready malts foundation. Some light notes of chocolate and coffee as the smell suggested. Refreshingly bitter on the back the mouth and in the aftertaste with leafy notes from the hops. Quite dry (obviously)

M- Slicky mouthfeel, expecially as long as the head is still big. Light to medium body with nearly unperceptible carbonation. Extremely smooth, but feels a bit too watery at times

O- Sure this is not the most flavourful or complex stout out there, but it is extremely drinkable and pleasantly refreshing, which is great to be found in a stout. Overall a simple, nice beer
