Poured from bottle into a pint glass

Appearance – Pours a crystal clear golden color with tons of tiny carbonation bubbles seen streaming up through the brew. Upon pouring there is a one finger pure white head that fades relatively quickly to leave a light level of lace on the sides of the glass

Smell – The aroma is mainly of a grainy and bready smell mixed with some lighter notes of caramel. With these aromas are a moderate presence of a grassy and herbal hop smells.

Taste – The taste begins with a lighter bready and grainy taste. There is the lightest hint of caramel sweetness upfront that then fades more toward the middle and the end. As the caramel fades, some of the grassy hops detected in the nose hits the taste buds. This light grassy hop is soon accompanied by a herbal flavor which develops more strength as the taste gets to the end. At it’s finish with all the flavors mingling together a crisp and fairly clean taste is left to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is on the thinner to average side with a carbonation that is on the higher side. The thinner body and higher carbonation compliment the grainy and lighter flavors of the brew quite nicely and make for a crisp and quite refreshing brew.

Overall – While not a flavor powerhouse the brew is rather refreshing. It is crisp and clean and very easy and enjoyable to drink. (1,387 characters)

On tap -- What a surprise. I actually enjoyed Harp. Nice near amber colour, decent lasting head, creamy mouthfeel, light sweetness, cling-y soft & faint buttery flavour and a fruity backbone. Extremely easy to drink and an excellent session beer. (246 characters)

Appearance – This one poured a light and clear yellow with just a tinge of orange. The head was full as well.

Smell – No skunk to start things off, which is always a big plus for this category. The nasty Gummi-Bear sweetness found in a lot of Pale Lager macros is absent as well, leaving the drinker with a harsh but clear nose of grain.

Taste – This is not bad. It’s more ricey than grainy, but there’s nothing offensive in here.

Mouthfeel – Light-bodied, of course, with a bit of decent carbonation. This one is quite refreshing.

Drinkability – I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m going to award a Pale Lager macro the title of “average.” Congratulations Guinness! (695 characters)

This was a decent lager. My pour had a good head on it that faded quickly and left little lace. The smell was quite grainy with a little bit of hop in there as well. The taste was simmilar to many macro lagers I've had...grain with a touch of malt flavor and little to no hop bitterness. Although my girlfriend ordered one and enjoyed a beer for the first time, I do not think I will be paying for another one of these myself.. (427 characters)

Pours light yellow. Clear. Abundant foamy head that settles down nicely. The taste contains some corny notes similar to American Adjunct Lagers but better. There is a premium quality that sets it apart and makes it better than average.
A very good choice for a summer session beer over a bbq'd hamburger.
A refreshing and enjoyable beer. (337 characters)

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: The body has great clarity and a bright yellow straw color. Its head is thick with big pillowy stiff peaks. It has great retention and leaves behind lots of cool lacing.

Smell: The aroma has pleasant aromatic hops and light malt.

Taste/Mouth feel: Its flavor has a good balance of sweet, light malts with mellow leafy and floral hops. Bitterness is mild and fades to a clean finish. Its texture is smooth and wet with average carbonation and a light to medium body that is very drinkable.

Notes: For me this was a very enjoyable beer with a beautiful look and pleasing aroma. The flavor is clean, refreshing and highly drinkable. Cheers! (725 characters)

Appearence: It has a nice dark but still golden colour.A Decent head that sticks around for a little while when poured correctly into the glass; along with some pretty good lacing.

S: Hops and a hint of fruity-ness, a decent overall smell.

Taste: Acceptable and somewhat bitter, with no off flavours, and not much sweetness to speak of.

Mouthfeel: Decent with a good amount of carbonation, smooth enough to drink despite the bitter.

Drinkability: Easy enough to drink one with a meal, enjoyable, but not the type of beer that you might want to drink many of at one time. (574 characters)
