Appearance: Pretty decent bright yellow color. Some nice lacing, but not much foam. Not much apparent carbonation.
Smell: Flowery and peppery. Pretty hoppy and citrusy as well, like fresh lemongrass. There's not much malt here in my opinion. Kind of peppery as well.
Taste/Mouthfeel: Lemon and hops with a clear flowery presence. Similar to something like Pilsner Urquell with the floral taste to it. Perfect carbonation makes this nice and smooth.
Drinkability: Great drinkability. Perfect balance of taste and feel.
Overall: I actually appreciate this beer. I've only had it once, but it works as a nice changeup to your stereotypical Irish stouts.

Pours a clear light gold and leaves decent lacing. Head ain't bad, quick fade. Smell is ok. Some malt and grassy notes. A bit of earth and pepper. Taste is mild malt sweetness. Earth and grass hops. Clean finish with an light tang. Feel is thin and watery with mild and smooth carbonation. Overall a shadow of what is was twenty years or so ago. Sigh.
