This is a nice place, modern decor with the more upscale end of the Athens hipster/ hippy crowd. Considering that they are a restaurant first and a bar second, they have a good selection of bottled beer and while they only have six taps, they seem to always be pouring better beer, with an emphasis on local products like Terrapin.

The service is good, with a knowledgeable wait staff (I didn't feel the need to quiz them about any of the beers, but they certainly knew the food).

The food and beer quality are both top notch. The beer is served in appropriate glass ware and reasonably priced. The food is excellent and very interesting. They grow most, if not all of their ingredients at their own local farm, so every thing is very fresh. They have a constantly changing menu with some really interesting and innovative dishes.

We had an appetizer of tempura vegetables, featuring lemon slices (sounds weird, but it worked really well) as well as melon and ginger soup. I also had the moules frites, steamed in a fresh cherry tomato broth with coriander aioli; I paired it with Duchess de Bourgogne, which they had on tap.

What really impressed me is the relatively reasonable prices. Nothing on the menu was over $21 and my entire bill for soup, mussels, and two beers was just over $40, with tip, which I consider pretty good for creative, fresh food and beer to match.

I highly recommend the farm and try to have dinner there every time I am in Athens. It is a nice, reasonably priced place, and most importantly, it is one of the few places in the south that you can get top notch food AND beer that lives up to it.

We found this place because of beer advocate. It serves local meat and produce as well as some good beer. When we got there the staff acted as if we were an inconvience. We thought it was because they were about to close but we discovered that they were open for another hour and a half (too early to be upest). The The beer selection was good for the area, like the food they focused on what was local (regional). We ordered the cheese plate and it was excellent. We might have stayed had we felt more welcome.
