375ml from the recent release into a snifter.

A. Clearish ruby-mahogany body, no head.

S. Perfumy raspberry, mostly sweet but with an acidic edge. Some caramel and molasses notes behind, alcohol.

T. Sweetish raspberry flesh, concentrated caramel, bready malt, sharp booze, some mildly medicinal syrupy notes.

M. Medium-bodied, sticky, no carbonation.

O. This is a bit thinner and boozier than I would have liked. Interesting beer, but not quite up to the hype.

Poured from a 16 oz bottle into a 8 oz glass. Split 4 ways.

A- pours a pinkish, dark amber with very little head and no lacing.

S- raspberries are there but not as overpowering as would of thought. Alcohol, bread, dark fruits, chocolate.

T- light raspberries, booze, spices, some chocolate with medicinal characteristics. Again, the raspberries do not overpower like you would expect.

M- full body and low carbonation. Syrupy and boozy.

O- this is a light raspberry boozy beer with some light chocolate. The medicinal notes reminded of jaeger.

From notes on Saturdays tasting. 2012 vintage.

A- Pours a translucent amber with virtually no head or lacing.

S- Raspberry liquor, bready malt, dark chocolate and burnt caramel. Very simple, but inviting

T- Raspberry flavored candy that is a bit medicinal, raspberry syrup, burnt caramel, bready malt and dark chocolate. Very little presence of alcohol.

M- Practically no carbonation with a syrupy body that finishes with just a bit of heat.

O- A very interesting beer to say the least. Lot's of raspberry, but not that fresh raspberry flavor that you find in beers such as Blushing Monk or Raspberry Tart. Quite a big and syrupy beer that should be sipped with friends. A couple ounces is more than enough.
