2014 bottle poured into a tulip glass.

A: Pours a dark maroon/purple cool with a little over a finger of off white head that reduces slowly and leaves a nice collar. Aside from the carbonation/head, this looks like a wine.
S: Huge wafting aroma of raspberry with a fair amount of alcohol burn to go along with it. On the back end is a nice chocolate sweetness that pulls it all together.
T: Near identical to the aroma. The raspberry steals the show on the front, giving way to a chocolate compliment. Aftertaste lingers with pleasant heat that I would usually detest, but with this flavor profile I welcome it.
M: Very smooth, feels almost thin for the higher ABV.
O: I enjoyed this beer a lot for it being well outside of my comfort zone. I have equally as much respect for how well it is crafted. The balance of sweet, heat and chocolate is perfect.
