A- Thin creamy tan head on a dark body and when held to light a pretty clear amber body. Very little lacing is left besides a collar. Also has some very nice legs to it with a swirl.
S- Has the "old ale" aroma. A sweet caramel, cherries, dark fruits, and a very nice complex aroma. Very nice blend of smells.
T/M- Has a sweet caramel body and a huge warming of alcohol that warms the whole body. Tastes just like the aroma with the "old ale" flavor. Sweet cherries and other blends of fruits. I'm getting wood and light vanilla from it also. Light bitterness sticks on the tip of the tongue. A dry smooth finish to it along with that huge alcohol hotness. Almost candy like and very full in body. Goes down very smooth with low carbonation. It's just a great blend of complex flavors.
D- It is a big sipper but it's a great beer. I'm glad I opened it for my 400th review. Very complex and interesting flavors. I would seek this out again.

Huge thanks to RocPorterFanatic for this brew.
A: Very dark brown in color, slightly hazy, and a quaint tan head on the top.
S: Intense malt, and a good amount of sweetness. Molasses, caramel, brown sugar and perhaps a hint of dark chocolate or licorice.
T: Sweet, with brown sugar, caramel, and dark fruits. There is a hint of bread, as well as an almost orange zest like flavor in the finish, you can't taste the alcohol as much as you can feel it. Very nice.
M: Medium heavy, carbonation is low, and there is a stickiness to it, that I think works in the finish. If anything it feels slightly lighter than I would have thought.
O: Overall a hell of a malt bomb to round out your day with. Delicious, smooth, and dangerous.
