A - A fairly dark brown color with a half a finger of short-lived head with a thin ring of lacing that forms. Specks of lacing adorn the glass throughout.
S - Concord grape juice, dark red fruit juices - cherries and blackberries. A bit of dates and figs.
T - Excellent. The foretaste is dominated by a truly fantastic presentation of blackberries. The aftertaste is mostly grape with a fruity bitterness.
M - Smooth, thin, slick and very refreshing.
D - Awesome. Too strong to session. The bitterness is of a type that detracts from teh drinkability, but it would be better with food. If I ever find it again, I will have it again. Why doesn't Kuhnhenn distribute more?!? This is the only Kuhnhenn beer I have had and it is simply amazing. I hope to get my hands on many more of their beers. Hopefully I can make it up to their brewpub one day.

Huge thanks to RocPorterFanatic for this brew.
A: Very dark brown in color, slightly hazy, and a quaint tan head on the top.
S: Intense malt, and a good amount of sweetness. Molasses, caramel, brown sugar and perhaps a hint of dark chocolate or licorice.
T: Sweet, with brown sugar, caramel, and dark fruits. There is a hint of bread, as well as an almost orange zest like flavor in the finish, you can't taste the alcohol as much as you can feel it. Very nice.
M: Medium heavy, carbonation is low, and there is a stickiness to it, that I think works in the finish. If anything it feels slightly lighter than I would have thought.
O: Overall a hell of a malt bomb to round out your day with. Delicious, smooth, and dangerous.
