Huge thanks to antlerwrestler19 for this one - 2011 vintage:
Such a raw looking beer. Deep, dark brown coffee body with an edge of ruby clarity that shows silky beading and a good amount of sexy legs and lace.
Gigantic dessert aromas explode from the glass... caramel, toffee, graham cracker, molasses, sweet grain... beautiful. It's a mellow sense of sweetness - it's not big enough to hide a big booze bill which is perfect because that wouldn't be necessary. The alcohol is surprisingly approachable; I don't know what keeps it in check. A touch of leather and s'more seem to do the trick.
A good amount of grape soda and tobacco surfaces on the palate. Some of that warming liqueur type flavor dries things up. Lots of toasted bread crusts and big grain flavors. There's a somewhat metallic finish that lingers over all of those surprisingly palatable malt notes. It's big. It's complex. It's tasty.

Huge thanks to RocPorterFanatic for this brew.
A: Very dark brown in color, slightly hazy, and a quaint tan head on the top.
S: Intense malt, and a good amount of sweetness. Molasses, caramel, brown sugar and perhaps a hint of dark chocolate or licorice.
T: Sweet, with brown sugar, caramel, and dark fruits. There is a hint of bread, as well as an almost orange zest like flavor in the finish, you can't taste the alcohol as much as you can feel it. Very nice.
M: Medium heavy, carbonation is low, and there is a stickiness to it, that I think works in the finish. If anything it feels slightly lighter than I would have thought.
O: Overall a hell of a malt bomb to round out your day with. Delicious, smooth, and dangerous.
