A-Poured an orange copper. Light head.
S-Orange tangerine; minerals, earth, and all of the good qualities you'd smell on a ripe, triple creme camembert.
T-A bit sour-sweet, with a metallic sensation on the tip of the tongue, tangerine, hops, and ripe cheese. The ripe cheese sensation is bizarre, but not unpleasant. This beer is very earthy, w/a generous and unmistakable twinge of minerals.
M-Pretty decent body w/light carbonation, but who knows how long this growler's been open? The overall texture is good.
D-This stuff is interesting, but bizarre. I don't know what'd I'd pair it with, but I would start with some ripe, French cheese.
Note: The generous provider of this beverage mentioned that there were French sea salts added, which might account for some of the minerals.
Serving type: growler
