On tap at TG Public House, 8.8.10, served in nonic pint glass.
One finger light tan head, small bubbles, medium dissipation with significant lacing. Dark brown opaque body, no visible carbonation. Nose features a healthy dose of roasted malt, a bit of chocolate with some grassy hops. Taste is quite chocolatey, the most chocolate I've seen in this emerging style, some bitterness on the backend, with more bitterness present as it warmed. Medium mouthfeel with good effervescence. Pretty drinkable. The chocolate notes made for a fairly unique CDA experience, but I was surprised at the relative lack of hops.
