On tap at the brewery.
A: Pours a slightly hazed ruby red color. A one finger white head forms, and recedes in a minute. Good lace is left behind.
S: Big, fresh raspberries. Real fruit, almost jammy fruits. Not medicinal at all. A bit of husky wheat, but the fruit is the entire show. Not a lot of nuance, but still really enjoyable.
T: Like the nose, the fresh raspberries are basically the entire show. The wheat is very much in the background and the jammy fruits are what you come back to.
M/O: A light body with moderate carbonation. A bit on the watery side, but not bad overall. Something refreshing and easy to drink. Like everything they do, this is moreish. If not as amazing as other offerings.
I was surprised at how much I did enjoy this. The fruit is very assertive, but really fresh and vibrant. Not only a good gateway, but good in its own right. If not my perfect example of traditional styles, just plan good in its own right.
