This light and refreshing pale ale is made with 100% Sorachi Ace hops. These unique hops impart aromas of lemongrass and dill. (This beer was first brewed for the ICBG Replicale 2010.)

They hit a home run with this beer. I love everything about it. My favorite pale ale I have ever had. This is the second beer I've tried from this brewery, and both have been pretty good. If you get the chance to try this beer, or any of the other beers they make I would recommend giving them a go

A: Pours a hazy golden orange color. A two finger white head forms with good retention. Plenty of sticky lace is left behind.
S: Sorachi Ace hops for sure. A fruity/lemony aroma with some grassy and floral aromas as well. Plenty of sweetness as well. Simple, but it is really a huge nose that I love.
T: Follows the nose. Big on the fruity hops. Lemon and citrus are dominate. Grassy and floral as well. A big sweetness, dark fruits, and even some toasted malts for balance.
M/D: A medium body that is well carbonated. Creamy and smooth. Very easy to drink. This is gone in no time, and something I can drink all day.
This is Blind Pig's version of "Illinois Craft Brewer's Guild annual collaboration Brew." 15 craft brewers use the same recipe, but a different hop variety. This version uses Sorachi Ace hops. A strange hop variety, but I think it works great. A highly inventive beer, and one I highly recommend.
