Pours a clear, gold color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Slight retention and decent lacing. Smells of yeast, slight bacterial funk, slight sweet malt, hint of pale malt, slight alcohol, must, hint of hop, floral/grass, and slight earthy malt. Fits the style of an Saison / Farmhouse Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of yeast, slight bacterial funk, slight sweet malt, hint of pale malt, slight alcohol, must, hint of hop, floral/grass, and slight earthy malt. Overall, weak appearance, decent aroma, body, and blend. Vastly better than La Padite!

L: Huge head. Had the same enormous head with another beer from Battered Boar, so maybe its just their thing. Or maybe I'm actually just terrible and incompetent. Anyway, big thick head coupled with hazy gold coloration. Looks great for a sunny day, but I'm sadly drinking this on a winter night. Kinda detracts from the beer.
S: Not an impressive smell. Faint floral tones, and I thought I smelled something along the lines of iron. Don't know about that.
T: The strong floral flavor at the front sip is the best quality for this beer. Real knockout job with incorporating kind of grassy/floral themes, which a lot of brewers struggle with. However, the taste quickly fades and theres not much else to keep the beer interesting. A little malt at the end, but nothing else really.
F: Very light bodied, which I very much enjoyed. Kind of a dry feeling as well.
O: Not exactly my go to beer in any situation, but it wasnt too bad.

22oz bottle into a tall tulip
A: Pours a slightly hazy golden color with three fingers of dense white merengue-like head. Retention is very, very good.
S: I get a mildly grassy aroma with faint cloves in the background.
T: The beer starts out with a light caramel sweetness followed by cloves. I get a bit of dark fruit as well, though mild.
M: On the thick side with strong carbonation.
O: There is not a lot going on wit this beer. Mild, straight-forward. Having said that, it's not bad.

I really enjoyed this beer, my favorite to date from Battered Boar.
Fresh fruity aroma with a little bit of hops. It is best right after pouring it... later on it is ho-hum as it fades.
This beer pours a very attractive hazy deep yellow-gold with a white head.
Flavor is exceptional. Rich yet fresh tasting. Some crisp apple, fresh grain, pineapple, spices. Very well balanced between being crisp and dry on one hand but also having a nice tinge of fruity sweetness. I can definitely pick up the dandelions too. The label says they use rye too and it might be there in the flavor, with a little bit of spiciness, but it is more subtle.
Nice smooth mouthfeel with a just a little bit of texture. I agree with the reviewers that this felt like a higher ABV than what the label said... but I don't think that's a problem ;-)
Overall, I will buy this beer again. Very enjoyable sunny day beer, or maybe even a winter beer to make you remember the sunshine again.

This review will be brief since my aprtments wifi crashed after I hit review & have to do it by memory
Pours an effervecent gold/bronxe with a finger+ of pearl colored head, Average lacing & head retention
S: Wet cereal, some dirt, green apples, pears & pineapple. Some black pepper too
T: Green apple skin, soggy cornflakes, white grape , pineapple up front. Lemons, green apple & band-aids along with white pepper as this warms. Finishes fruitty, with wet hay notes, some lemon, coriander & white pepper
Starts light bodied with assertive carbonation, smooths out as it warms. Thins out a touch with some dryness towards the end of the bottle (22 oz latter). Warming
Easily the best beer I've had from these guys. fairly driankable, but presents as stronger than the listed ABV

22oz bottle served in a Duvel tulip.
A - Pours a hazy golden amber with tight-knit milky white head that regrows itself from a few swirls.
S - Stone fruit, sugary peaches, sweet bread, honey dew melon, herbs, spicy grass, alcohol.
T - Sweet bready malt, bruised stone fruit, pepper, dusty yeast, finishes with an earthy green bitterness. Alcohol is very evident.
M - Heavy body with ample carbonation, drinks hot.
Smells better than it tastes, good fruit esters and the dandelion creates a green bitterness. If it didn't state it on the bottle, I wouldn't have known there were dandelions in it though. Alcohol gets in the way. This drinks like 9% ABV. I wish it wasn't so sweet.
