Poured from a brown 11.2 oz. bottle. Has a copper color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is malty, some sweetness. Taste is bready, malts, alcohol, some light apple, a bit unusual aftertaste. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall a mediocre beer.

From my point of view really nice beer; strong enough but not so alcoholic you cannot have 2 in a row.
A: Amber with a creamy head
S: Faint, but somehow persistant, alcoholic smell with hop notes
T: Smooth and malty, The light thickness and flavors work in the mouth creating a tasteful and low bitter beer. The complexity can be better tasted when comparing several intakes. Again in my opinion the mix makes an almost perfect beer for repetitive drinking. ( Please, see my tastes have been raised in Europe. )
M: Refreshing and quite drinkable.
O: Astonishing price/quality ratio ( $1.5 / 1 Eur ) Refreshing in Summer when served almost chilled and able to join a stew in Winter.

330ml Bottle: poured into a 'Chimay' chalice at home on 4th March 2014.
Nice old gold colour to the clear body with a white head that fell away to a wisp and collar fairly swiftly.
Malty feel throughout the brew, in all aspects, the nose being full of molasses type smells with very little else to find.
The taste is also leaning heavily towards a semi-sweet maltiness with next to no bitterness until the finish which has a weak hop dryness which helps to balance out the malts sweetness a little.
I like the sweeter brews so this suited my taste buds, others will find it too sweet for the style and unbalanced because of that.

330ml bottle poured into beer specific glass. A: Strawberry blonde, darker than adjunct lager, clear, no head, minimal lacing. S: Not overly pronounced but notes of farmyard, molasses, malt and slight hop. T: Caramel, molasses. M: Body on the thick side, slight tingle from the carbonation but went down well. O: Definitely a step up from typical mass produced lagers, more challenging but not one to throw back.
