Had at Barcino's in the PHP 2/28
Served in a pint glass

A: This beer pours a translucent yellow iwth a two finger of white head. Head recedes at a moderate pace leaving wisps of lacing on the glass.

S: Nose is grain, grass and a touch of malt sweetness.

T: Taste grain at the forefront, hints of corn. A grassy flavoring comes in to mingle with the grain. Finish is a hint of malt, with parger grass presence.

M: Light body, medium carbonation, light and crisp.

O: Goes down ok, not overly tasty, not filling, mild kick, not a great representaton of style.

Pours a clear golden color, topped with a very decent and solidy stable white foamy head.
The aroma is easily picked up, mostly grainy and malty.
The taste is pleasantly bitter, no initial sweetness and watery feel, nicely balanced body, coming together with more than nice bitterness.
Very nice for a lager, actually one of the better ones lately.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden with fluffy white head and soda like carbonation. Nose is of some pale malt and hint of hops. Body is light and crisp. Taste is of sweet malt balanced by some hop bitterness. Finish is almost non-existent. Typical pale lager.

Appearance - It is a dark golden color, with not much of a head.

Smell - A light malty smell.

Taste - Like the smell, just malts; doesn't have that weird adjunct taste.

Mouthfeel - A good amount of carbonation, and it is slightly heavier than most AAL.

Overall - I prefer this Spanish AAL over some of the stuff they make here in the US.

330ml bottle. Pokal glass. Brass color, cristal clear appearance. White froth, brief crown leaving some rings. Metallic & sugary to the nose. Grainy upfront. Light but fat body. Moderate to high carbonation. Watery. Cloying sweetish maltiness, low bitterness & subtle spicy touch. Flat beer. You´d better avoid it.

Picked this up at the local Latino super mercado pricy but something new so let's give it a whirl. Popping the top I get a nice waft of barely malt but there is the characteristic sweetness of adjunct lurking in the background. Pours into the SAPP with a deep golden color with a thick pillow top multi size bubble head. On the taste this brew has a thin mouthfeel upfront then the flavor comes in with some maltiness and an array of un consolidated hopping that goes in no particular direction. Aftertaste is neither bitter nor sweet but a flat sourness that lingers. May be great for washing down tapas but this brew is not my cup of tea.
