Bottle: Poured a deep clear copper color ale with a nice off-white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light tart notes with some light vinous notes also discernable. Taste is a nice mix between some tart and lightly vinous notes offset by some sweet fruity notes. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. I thought this was quite enjoyable with some complexity and also great drinkability factor.

Bottle from Broue HAHA. From notes.

A - Poured dark copper with good carbonation. Bright with a one finger beige head. Spotty lace with islands of retention.

S - Sweet fruit, orange, yeast, sugars, dried/candied fruits, lot's of grapes.

T - Apples, grapes, sugars, tart cherries, a white wine character. There are many layers, yet it lacks a dark fruit quality I would expect and the malt profile pretty much sticks to apple/grape notes.

M - Nice and effervescnet, medium body with a tart/dry finish.

O/D - Nice and interesting. A nice one to sip on with a character I wasn't expecting. Tasty and complex but lacking in some respects with certain aspects dominating far too much.

A: Reddish amber color, fully translucent. Minimal head with no retention at all. No lacing.

S: Very wine like. Some light tannins. Strawberry, raspberry and grape juice is coming to mind. Some cheap malty notes you usually find in cheap fruit flavored drinks. Light vinegar.

T: Nice amount of raspberries and acid grapes. But then, there is that weird cheap maltiness coming through. Meh. Nice acidity that kind of surprising. Works well with the juicy notes. Some weird cough syrup aftertaste.

M: Lightly syrupy with nice tang from the carbonation. Perfect for what they were aiming for.

O: Most definitely an experiment. And experimental it was. I'm just quite pissed I spent 15$ on a sub par beer. Meh is the best I can say.

Poured from a 750ml. bottle.

Appearance: Dark amber, mild gold body. Good 4-5 fingers of head that disappear rather fast. Some lacing, especially when swirling glass.

Smell: Fruit syrup, peaches, melon, fieldberries, honeydew and white grapes.

Taste: Peach fuzz, tangerine peels and very prominent white grapes.

Mouthfeel: Active carbonation but still a malt base to make it a beer. As it warms, dryness is more apparent.

Overall: Would have liked a bit more sweetness to balance out the dry wine-like aspect. It was enjoyable though.
