One of many restaurants in downtown Orange that I've driven by so many times but never had the chance to dine in.

Finally came here with my cousin for a Sunday lunch. The draft selection wasn't that impressive and most of them have relatively low abv. They do have an enormous bottle list but why would you want to order bottles in a pub when you can buy them from stores for half the price.

The service is... serviceable. Not bad, but not earth-shattering. But who needs earth-shattering service at a pub?

Food is the best part here. We had the tacos and some other dishes and the flavor was phenomenal. I'll try something else if next time I am here.

I've been here quite a few times and am not sure how I didnt review this yet. Anyway, this review is from 8/14/12 with StarRaptor and Markintihar

Atm- Its built in the veign of an open restaurant style with open black ceilings, big windows along the side a fireplace and a big bar along the side. At night with the wood its a bit dark and nice with the low lighting.

Quality- Overall the quality of this place is great. The food is well crafted and super tasty. The beer is on point most of the time, Wish they had a bit more on tap at times. Most of the time its things that are pretty available in So.Cal. No real WOW beers. Bottles are pretty good as well.

Service- Always prompt and helpul, lots of yes sir and can I get you anything else. The chef and staff really make people feel at home.

Selection- Its a one page menu and thats okay. I just need more sometimes. Not a flaw per se just needs a bit of variety.

Food- Amazing everytime. Last night I got the lamb burger. WOW. Super flavorful and perfectly cooked to the chefs selection.

Value- I'm torn here. Its kinda in between reasonable and pricey. For 1 beer, chips and the burger was over $30.

I stopped by here for dinner on a short work related trip out to Anaheim. It was a Tuesday night, and the bar was pretty open. Most of the tables were filled.
I took a seat at the bar and waited a bit for the bartender to return. When he did, he offered me a tap list and food menu. Pretty decent selection on tap. About a dozen or so taps, and all quality stuff. Bottle list was quality as well, with what seemed like slightly higher than normal bar prices. I settled on a Golden Road Hefeweizen and a lamb burger. While I waited for my food, I noticed that even though the place was pretty full, it wasn't very loud. Not a big fan of bars that are so loud due to music and people shouting over it in order to be heard, so it was a big plus for me.
The food arrived, and both the burger and pomme frites were delicious. I finished up both food and beer and ordered a Ballast Point Sea Monster to finish up the evening.
Overall, I enjoyed this place. If I was a local, I probably wouldn't make it in regularly due to what seemed like slightly higher prices. However, both food and beer seem to be much appreciated here so you can rest assured you'll get a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere.

I've been to Haven a few times. The beer is always nice, the food is better. But be ready to spend quite a bit of money.

A- It is laid back with some hipsters slingin' the brews. I like it quite a bit, but when it gets busy it can be excruciating. The crowd that seems to gather here is a bit yuppie, a bit hipster. I don't know what that says about me, but whatever.

Q- Food is wonderful, if expensive. Beers are better.

S- As much as I ribbed them a little earlier, the waitstaff is friendly and fairly knowledgeable.

Selection- Great rotating beers, bottles leave me less than impressed though. Either way, you get a good choice from cheap to ball-bustingly expensive.

F- Like I said, great food. Not cheap though, and smallish portions.

Value- I've been on it all review. If you go in for two of the cheaper beers and a small dish, be prepared to shell out 25 before tip.

I like the look of the place, perfect lighting, not too many tvs, great wood and stone finishes. If I could build my perfect kitchen, it would look a lot like this.

Lots of different beers on tap, which are constantly changing, and way more in the bottle than I can count. Food is good, a bit trendy, but tasty.

Service is a bit slow, it's a very busy place, so that's kind of expected.

Lots of choices, usually at least 3-4 beers from different styles, with always some IPA, Belgian, Stout, Amber, and lighter ales. Food is all over, from prosciutto brussell sprouts, to ceviche, to chicken and waffles, to bacon wrapped shrimp and grits, like I said, trendy, but well done.

Pricing is a little on the high side, but all around, if you were in a real restaurant, you would pay more for this style. I haven't eaten anything bad here, but I wish it were just a little more economical.

Stopped by this place for dinner after waiting in line at Bruery Provisions for almost 2 hrs. I had read great things about this place. I checked out their website and saw many offerings I was interested in. I was able to convince my crew to check this place out eventhough the food menu seemed a little pricey. When we got in and seated we were told that they were training a waitress and she'd be shadowing the waiter. Cool, no problem, except they gave us one beer menu for four seated. We were missing silverware and it took a while to get our initial drink order. Once we were tended to, we were informed that several of the beers we were asking for were unavailable. 15$ for Alpine Nelson - little high but fresh nonetheless. Food was good but pricey. Jumbo prawns with cheese grits. The company I was with didn't enjoy their food as much as I did, but to each their own. I'll more than likely patronize another establishment next time I'm in the area.

Cool little English gastropub type motif in old school downtown Orange, close to Bruery Provisions. Lots of wood, really enjoyed hearing The Get Up Kids on whatever was playing the music (I suspect someone's ipod on shuffle).

A great alleged selection of beers available. I dunno what the deal is with this unfortunate trend lately, but it gets old repeatedly requesting beers that are on the menu, on the website, but not actually available. Claimed Damnation 23, no. Claimed Alpine Nelson, no. Claimed -bal Ten Fidy, no. Service was decent, some hotties, some heavier, uglier, tatted types that give the fellow tall skinny hottie trainee employees dirty looks behind her back, that was classic. Ended up finally settling on a $15 bottle of Alpine Duet. At least it was fresh.

Shepard's Pie was disappointing, bland, just some supermarket hamburger & mashed potatoes. Just wasn't all that impressed with this place, I hate places that hype up their beer selection on paper, but then fail to deliver in reality.
