I'll try to look at the bright side, I contributed to this beer's fame on BA by adding the photo you see displayed. The last remaining bottle of the long forgotten Beer Traveler's pack, on to the beer:
Let's start with the look: it has a very pale body, but when it's poured into a glass, it actually gets a soapy head, which was better than I expected. A little stinky and astrigent in the aroma, not much of a suprise for the time I've had it in my fridge. Flavor is light with soft grain and a slight sourness, fading to an odd corn finish. It got sickening after some time, which means I got to feed my sink this. I bet it would rather have rotten vegetable scraps instead.

A- Pours a clear golden yellow color with a fizzy white head.
S- The aroma is faint grains and a hint of sulfur. Not much going on in the aroma.
T- The taste like the aroma is mostly faint grains and just a touch if hops in the taste. The aftertaste is pretty rough in this one.
M- The mouthfeel is light bodied and highly carbonated.
D- Overall, not a huge fan of this one and would pass on drinking it again.

Clear, pale yellow hue small, underdeveloped white head; faded quickly. No lace. The nose is powerfully skunky (the bottle was clear), husky/grainy, airy the nose is just like Corona. Not inviting. Lousy palate, very harsh overly grainy, corn, the alcohol is oddly noticeable watery... a touch of sweetness. The hops are absent any sort of backbone is largely constructed by adjuncts. Thin mouthfeel with a distant creaminess in the finish. This is a shitty Corona knockoff skip it. Not worth the .99c I paid for the bottle, might not finish my glass.

Poured into a glass mug from a 12 oz. clear bottle. Medium straw in color from the pour with a rich, though brief, head of white foam. Does keep a thin film for most of the mug however. Smell is light and thin with just a hint of neutral grain and a bit of dilute corn syrup. Subtle overall and much more 'American' than anything else here with regards to the look and nose.
Light sweetness revisits in the flavor as the nose becomes more grainy with warming. Typical simple sweetness of the Middle Americas is everpresent. Feel is somewhat light and thin given the relatively light sweetness footprint of the beer amidst the lack of malt depth from the region. Overall as drinkable a beer as many Central American brews that try to force the sweet corn, yet limited by that same narrow profile.

The beer pours a clear light straw color, the head modest and a bright white, lace is thin but concealing. Nose is lightly sweet malt; crisp and clean, start has fair malt presence, top cadaverous. Finish is benign in its acidity, a slight touch of hops, dry aftertaste seals off a very forgettable beer, but in all fairness, a product of its hot and humid environment.

Bottled in a clear bottle, not a great sign, and no expiration date. Very little head from the pour and it vanished in a flash, leaving a wispy lace that has little cling. Color is a light amber, rating a 4 on the SRM beer color chart. Smells like corn husks and wheat chaff. Taste is a rough blend of corn, wheat and malt, finishing with a bland sour bread. Quite watery in the mouthfeel category, just a little zing from the carbonation. Just because it is an import, doesn't make it worth another bottle. I would drink another if I were offered, not to offend the person's feelings.

Poured into a pint glass from a 12oz bottle.
A: It has a small, thin, white head that dissipates quickly without leaving a trace. There is a clear, yellow color with a small amount of carbonation. It looks very dull.
S: It has a similar scent to other cervezas, but much more skunky. It doesn't smell appealing at all.
T: Like other cervezas it has a thin amount of malts and not much else. It is very dull, not lively at all.
M: There is a moderate amount of fizz. It is very light bodied and very watery.
O: Overall, this isn't a very good beer. The smell turns you away immediately. I'm disappointed, I've tried others from this brewery and they were pretty good. I wasn't expecting much from an American Adjunct, but much more than this.

I think of what a waste it was. This barley could have fed the starving native children, but it was for some reason fermented in a fat man's sweat and transported across the world just to insult my pallette. I like beer in general less for having tasted it.

So this is a "direct to you" brand offered by my store. I was thrown off by the picture because the new bottle type looks a lot different. Here comes another Mexican cerveza....Hopefully horses were not part of the making of this brew. The beer looks the exact same inside or outside of the clear glass bottle: crystal clear honey yellow. Smells of cereal grains and a minimal hop profile. The taste is very Corona lightish. Thin and musty that needs to be flavored by a lime. A typical cerveza but a good thing to sip pool side on a hot day. Do not expect flavor or depth but enough to quell the urge to vomit.

This is a mexican beer. If you haven't figured that out yet, you will the second you begin to pour it.
It looks just like Corona. A pale yellow with a head that never even creates itself other than a ring of bubbles around the glass.
Smellwise, it's like buffalo wing farts, horse urine and a mildewy shower combined. Truly awful.
Tastewise it isn't much better. It's a beer that is so skunked that it has given up every other flavor it had. Tastes like horse urine. Almost exactly in fact.
Mouthfeel is very similar to horse urine. Slightly oily, mostly watery, totally awful.
As far as being drinkable, this beer fails in every regard. I couldn't finish much more than a few sips before I pitched the rest down the drain, where hopefully the alligators in the sewers will learn of its putrid suck. If anyone can finish one of these, especially by choice, I will bow to them and their profound manliness and love for beer worse than I ever believed possible.

Pours a pale yellowish straw color with a sickly white head and zero lacing. Smells of grains and booze. Tastes of grain, cereal, and water. Some bitterness. Mouthfeel is thin, way too thin. Drinkability is not to good. Overall, it is a fairly poor beer that I would not go out and purchase on a regular basis. Stay away.

This is pretty similar to a corona style beer, the taste of a lime is already added. Little to no head, almost completely clear. Could be kinda fun to drink during a really hot day. Not a good beer by any strech of the imagination. My first added beer though!

For $9.99 a 12 pack, it's hard to say no.
Appearance: Light gold in body with a white, creamy thin head.
Smell: Smells like booze and bread, and maybe a little sweet malt. Why the alcohol smell is so prevalent is a mystery to me, seeing that the ABV is less than 5%.
Taste: Taste like your typical North American adjunct brew--corn grits, yeast, no hops whatsoever.
Mouthfeel: Maybe too much carbonation here. Feels like a freaking ginger ale on the tongue.
Overall: This is the epitome of a lawn-mower brew--if it's hot out and you've worked up a sweat then this will work pretty good. It will quench your thirst, no doubt, and it doesn't taste bad. But it doesn't taste all that great either.

Caballo Cerveza Extra pours a yellow color with a white head from a clear twelve ounce bottle. I could smell this beer clearly the moment I cracked the cap open, it's skunky, and it smells like corn grits. The taste isn't as nasty as the smell, it's mildly sweet and tastes mostly of corn. I've had worse, a fairly typical Latin American lager along the lines of Corona.

Bottle in a 'laser etched' pint glass.
A - Not sure what's up with these laser etchings, but it definitely attributed to the thick foamy white head, bubbles were whizzing off the etch. Watery looking 'yellow', can't qutie call it golden.
S - Mostly grain, with a hint of floral.
T - Corn, weak hops.
M - Really light, I suppose this beer would quench a thirst on a hot day in Mexico.
D - Pretty much avoid, unless they're on sale and your thirsty for Corona.
