From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter via a friend from work---Thanks Kevin!
This session-able pale pours a medium pale amber with a nice head of
white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin pool, and features some nice light
lacing. Nose of grassy hops and subtle sweet malts. Flavors lightly exceed the
nose with grassy and herbal hop notes rounded out by lightly sweet honey malts
and light grain notes. Nice mouth feel for a macro pale---smooth, medium on the
mouth feel, crisp, medium carbonation, and a clean lightly hopped finish.
Overall, nothing to hate here. It's balanced and refreshing. A solid pale for
consumption at a BBQ or after mowing the lawn (which this would work wonders for).
Cheers

Poured from a glass bottle into a shaker pint glass.
L: Beautiful amber/caramel color. Little head, but a nice, lace-like halo around the edge. Surprising amount of small rising bubbles. I would rate the Look higher, but it appears a little thin and watery.
S: Gorgeous on the nose--somewhat hoppy and musty with a little spice. This is the best part of the beer.
T: I think the taste is a bit better than others have noted--probably just personal preference.
F: Thin, watery, as the Look suggests. We have come to expect just a little more body is a pale ale. It's almost like someone took a standard ale and mixed in a couple of tablespoons of tap water.
O: Not a bad beer--certainly not as bad as some other reviews would suggest--but not stellar, either. It almost seems closer to a summer ale or something of that nature.

Appearance: Light yellow, white cap with good lace.
Aroma: Not much to speak of, hoppier than your usual AAL.
Taste: Not bad. Not really good either but there's little to recommend it other than it's beer and not a bad one. I get bready malt with some hops peaking out but are too timid to actually introduce themselves.
Texture: Light bordering on medium.
Overall: If someone handed me this saying it was Miller High Life I'd say no, Miller has a brighter hop profile. This is an inoffensive beer designed for broad appeal which means minimum complaints but no real complements either. I cheerfully drank it but I'm rather easy in such matters.

Crystal clear watery golden body with a thin, soapy white head. Aroma is slightly citrusy, slightly piney, lots of toast. Flavor is slightly sweet, a dash of bitterness. Feel is medium-light bodied with medium carbonation. A plain pale ale that is light on flavor.

Crystal-clear, dark gold colored body; thick, foamy, white head; strings and clumps of lacing on the glass. Caramel and bread crust aroma; slight sweetness noted. Flavor follows the aroma; some diacetyl notes (on par with the style); slightly metallic hop bitterness. Medium bodied; smooth and glassy; mostly dry finish.
Not a bad little beer all together. It is far from being a standout example of the style yet delivers the basic goods. The flavor and feel do seem a bit weak overall yet the beer remains easily drinkable.

A: Pours a relatively clear copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and a faint amount of amber highlights. The beer has a three finger tall frothy foamy tan head that reduces to a large patch of thick film covering the majority of the surface of the beer with a thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of toasted malts and grassy hops with a hint of citrus/orange rind hops.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of toasted malts with a light amount of bready malts. That is followed by a light flavor of grassy and citrus/orange rind hops which imparts a light amount of lingering bitterness.
M: On the lighter side of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.
O: Nothing exciting here and not really great hop aromas + flavors for this one... Probably won't grab this one again though it is easy to drink.
