Pours a medium red in color, with a pinkish head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is dominated with the raspberry, with a bit of yeastiness also sneaking through. Flavor is a bit sweet, and also a bit tart. Medium body, fairly refreshing. Raspberry isn't my favorite, but this was a decent presentation. (305 characters)

Currently on tap at Watch City (10/3/05)

Had my second helping of the Road Rash this afternoon at Watch City. My first one was last week while watching the Sox blow a game.

Color was almost an electrified red which looked more like a soda than a brew. Intense raspberry smell with a strong tart raspberry flavor. Not quite artificial tasting but not quite the real thing. Wasn't bad either way.

I liked this beer. It said raspberry on the tap and it tasted like raspberry. Seems like a simple concept, but too many times you get something that doesn't remotely resemble what it's being billed as, so I try not to take for granted products that come as advertisted.

Easy to drink and well worth a try next time your at Watch City. (742 characters)

First day of this keg. Served a pale pink yellow amber with a small head. The berry taste is right there in your face, but without the sweetness of a lambic. This still tastes like wheat beer. But because Belgan yeast has been used, it tastes very unique. Verrry berrrry fruity and quite the balanced flavor to go with that. Certainly worth a sample or few. Also good mixed with the Moody St Stout. (398 characters)
