Poured from a growler a foggy beautiful light brown with an orange bottom. It leaves a thick off-white sticky lace. The aroma is wheat, banana, a small sour acidic nose that reminds me of unripened fruit. The taste is weak, sour, watery upfront but as it warms up over time mellows a bit and becomes very drinkable. The nose displayed the taste to come. Starts soft, but sour, pale wheat, followed by a light hop bitterness and finishes a bit harsh.

Note: when I first had a glass of this beer from the growler the first day it was a bit sour, the next day the sourness had subsided and it was more pleasing to the palate.

An interesting brew. Has a nice toasty wheat, malty flavor but sour aftertaste detracts from the overall experience to some extent although that may be expected from a Weisse. A little more on the cloudy copper end colorwise. I liked the toasted flavor but this is definitely not a session beer as the sour aftertaste gets old. Might be nicer with a little more barley malt to cut the wheat twang.

Definitely one of those beers enjoyed fresh at the brewpub. I don't think it held up all that well for 24 hours in the growler.Poured a murky orange haze with quite a bit of foamy white head. The head hung around for quite a bit. Nose was mostly wheat but wth a not-so-subtle citrus presence.

More tart than bitter. Like biting into a slightly underripe grapefruit. Wheat gave a nice body and feel to this beer but the tartness was overpower the sweetness of the wheat. Lots of other flavors... all sorts of citrus as well as some banana, cloves and even something that I swear resembled peach. A nice beer but I found the tartness a bit too much.

I sampled this brew on a recent visit to the brewpub. The beer arrives in a pint glass a hazy gold color witha frothy bleached white surface layer resting on the top. The head doesnt fade much throughout and leaves some spotty lacing as I drink. The aroma is banana and bready yeast as well as some spicy cloves and a hint of lemon. THree checks for typical Weisse nose. The first sip reveals a lite body with mild yet tingly carbonation. The flavor is mostly sweet with a bit of caramel and some cloves and lemon again. There is also the expected wheat twang. The beer finishes with a lite lingering banana presence. Very drinkable and goes well with my salmon and asian vegetables.
Quite nice brew for sure.
