On draft at iTap CWE
Looks good, black body, white head which quickly dissipates.
Roasty malts which linger, some bitterness. Disappointing overall

Stopped at the Broadway while visiting my Daughter at Mizzou. This black IPA is served in a modified strange. The beer is black/dark brown with a skim of a beige head.
Aroma of roasted malts, brown sugar and some coco. Hops are not that evident.
Roasty with a bit of dark chocolate and a bit of coffee. More malts then hops. A bit of bitterness late. The bitterness seems more driven by the roasted malts than hops.
Mouth is decent with a bit of tongue coating. More of a regular black ale than an IPA but I did enjoy it.

A - Poured out a jet-black color with a one-finger, off-white head of foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass.
S - It smelled of chocolate, roasted malt and toffee. A touch of pine.
T - Good bitter piney hop bite up front. Nice chocolate and roasted malt flavor.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied ale with a dry finish.
O - This is a good Black IPA. Broadway keeps making consistently good beers.
