This review is from notes taken during craft beer week 2011.
A- Ranges from ruby garnet to deep mahogany tones. Persistent two fingers worth of head.
S- Piney and spicy with hints of pineapple. Hints of sand and wood.
T- Sweet and refreshing, like nectar. Herbal spiciness from the hops, with notes of clay and hat. Bitterness makes itself known at the end.
M- Alcohol is noticeable amid the syrupy mouth feel. Spiciness form the hops combines with the carbonation to add some brightness.
O- A very delicious beer that was both unique and flavorful. I am really glad I didn't miss it when it was out.

Poured deep amber, mildly hazy, with a 1" off-white head. Not too much lace, nor did it last very long. Rich pine aroma with just a touch of earth and grapefruit. A long sweetness in the forefront of honey and caramel followed by a long, bitter and earthy finish. Pine is prominent throughout. Mild/moderate carbonation with a medium body. Slightly dry in the finish. A pretty good beer.

A: amber with red and orange hues.
S: very hoppy and floral notes
T: bitter and has a strong resemblance to a barley wine as my friend nickfl alerted me too. Piney, sugar/carmel, peppery and spicey.
M: moderate carbonation, medium to full bodied. Thick and a little oily.
Overall: this is the first of the 10-10-10 series for me. I enjoyed the variable tastes. The aroma and taste matched up well.

Based off of the 10-10-10 DIPA. All centennial hops, 10 hop additions, all multiples of 10 or 100 of ingredients. Released 100 days after brew day, during craft beer week. The release was well attended, so figured I would add this one.
A slightly hazy copper with two-fingers of dense cream colored head. Settles slowly to a thin ring, leaving splotches of lace along the glass. Smell: citrus - orange and sweetened grapefruit, slightly piney, earthy, caramelized sugar, toasted barley. Taste: lots of caramel, well toasted, some date bread-like sweetness, candied citrus peel - lemon, grapefruit. Earthy with a touch of resiny pine. It's a true DIPA, big malt backbone with big hop flavor and aroma and a ton of IBUs. Really nice.
