12oz bottle poured into a standard pint. The brew appears a clear pale with a white froth atop that fades slow leaving patchy lace.

The smell includes notes of fresh sweet bready grains like cereal with a faint herbal hop component blending to sulfur. A bit of a fruity touch across the backend.

The taste is lightly fruity with a cereal fresh bready grain aspect and mild herbal hops to contrast that does not offer up much bitterness which is fine for the style.

This is a medium to light bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. It is super easy drinking and very crisp/refreshing. Per the style it is pretty mild and clean. If you want a beer you can down a sixer of with no regrets, this is the one.

A: Golden filtered, little large bubbled carbonation, a finger of white head fades fast.

S: Grapes, musty, malt, white grapes and offal.

T: White grapes, champagne, malty, dough like a pizzeria.

M: Light body with high carbonation, dry slightly powdery finish.

O: An excellent Kolsch. Got this one in Whole Foods, Raleigh NC today, June 13, 2014. Really enjoying this fantastic styled beer, true to form.
