This beer style is over 400 years old, and continues to enjoy overwhelming popularity. Offering low hop bitterness, it is easy to enjoy. It pours very hazy, with a light gold color... we say it's like summertime in a glass. Bitter orange peel and fresh coriander add zest and depth to this refreshing beer.

Drinking this at one of my favorite tap rooms, Tapped Craft and Drafts in Greenville NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks golden yellow with a nice white foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin ring.
Smells lightly bready, spicy, herbal, grassy.
Taste follows the nose nicely.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a very nice example of the style that I might order again.
Cheers!

On tap in a pint glass.
Pale yellow-ish look, not clear or cloudy. No cap, only a thin white film. No lacing, either.
I’m getting lemon and cherry, no orange.
Cherry and blueberry flavors. Citrus in the form of lemon.
Very light bodied with a fresh flavorful finish.
There’s nothing Belgian about this beer. Even the wheat base was a chore to recognize. Otherwise, ok.

Pick this up at a Whole Foods in Asheville North Carolina ... Thin and not very exciting ... Seems to be a watered down version of a classic and delicious beer style...

Look: It pours a cloudy pale yellow.
Smell: The aromas feature a lot of spices, some coriander, pepper, wheat, lemon, and a hint of clove.
Taste: The flavors feature the wheat and spices with lemon. In addition to the aromas there are some cracker flavors with orange and a sharp, spicy aftertaste.
Feel: It has a medium body with a spicy after taste.
Overall, the spices are in the fore front here with everything else supporting the spices.

Strong dark sour / bitter taste to it complimented by the spices. Smell is okay. I had the bottle version, so I can't really comment on the look.
Good beer. Worth trying.

Pours without much of a head to a golden amber color, looks cinematic once in a glass. The aroma is a unique hybrid of grass and spice. The flavor is earthy, orange, withot noticeable zip. Has a mostly smooth finish with a bit of a tang within the aftertaste.
Witbier is extremely drinkable, and Mother Earth knocks this offering out of the park.

From notes 10/26/13: Pours a dull, hazy deep straw producing 1.5 fingers of white, short lived, foamy head that leaves only a hint of thin, wispy lace. Aroma is wheat, pale and a little grainy malt with notes orange, lemon and white fruits from the yeast with little hop character as expected. Taste is wheat, bready malt, coriander, orange, lemon, peach, apple and a hint of melon; faint clove with heavy pepper and some dried grass hoppiness in the finish. Coriander, lemon/orange and a hint of grass in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light and a little thin with high carbonation. The carbonation spice makes it lively on the tongue.
