look: 4.25 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4

Appearance: Pours a clear amber capped by an inch or two of foam; very impressive lacing

Smell: Fruity, floral and slightly citrusy, with a hint of biscuity malt

Taste: A biscuity backbone, with fruity flavors, up front; adds a bit of citrus, in the middle, with just a touch of orange that arrives in the finish and lingers in the aftertaste

Mouthfeel: Medium body with crisp carbonation

Overall: It is that hint of orange in the finish that makes this beer for me; very refreshing and enjoyable, though relatively straightforward

Can from trade, can’t remember who because it has been sitting around for a bit. Thanks! Pours a light clear golden with small white head. Huge floral aroma like potpourri, but not to the point that makes it in appealing. Slight citrus as well. Flavor is a combo of citrus and big floral notes. Actually nicely crisp and refreshing. Light body and high carbonation. Nice brew that could be enjoyed as a session it seems.

Can -> Wine Glass

A: Hazy slightly orange/straw yellow, minimal 1/4" white head, some spotty lacing.
S: Citrus, lemon, clove, slight hop notes.
T: Nice citrus hops - similar to a white IPA, caramel, malt, slightly floral.
M: Nice CO2, light-medium body, crisp & refreshing, surprisingly thin for the amount of flavor it packs.
O: Light and flavorful brew. Nice layered flavors and not overly hopped. I would prefer a little more body personally but in this case it makes this beer very drinkable and ready for another.

12 ounce can -> Grand Teton snifter

A - very pale hazy straw color, one half finger head diminishing into nothing, and no lacing to speak of

S - very citrus, lemon, orange peel, and pine, maybe bready

T - kind of one dimensional citrus with a metallic finish

M- not bad, but not great either. Biggest negative is the metallic aftertaste

O - pretty average

Poured from the can into a nonic pint glass.

A golden and lemon bodied pale amber, very nice but a little hazy, with a big fluffy bleach white head, and lots of rising bubbles. Settles to a weak put one finger sized puck.

Nose has bready malts, an interesting almost Kolsch like fruity ester quality.

Palate hits with a lot of hop spice and grass notes. Clean with a wine fruity finish, but a good sense of bakery dough. There's a little bit of competing flavors which clash so slightly, but are good in there own individual way, so a little unbalanced but not terribly. Body is light and refreshing with a good mix of malt density and crispness.

Overall a very satisfying pale ale, sort of reminds me a little bit of their Endless River Kolsch too.

12 oz can was poured into a narrow glass.

Appearance: The beer poured a 1.5 inch head that reduced to a thin layer. A golden straw yellow with no clarity and some bubbles coming up. Laced consistently and thickly throughout drinking

Smell: Citrus, bready and butter aromas.

Taste: Decent hop bitterness and spruce/evergreen taste. Balanced...

Mouthfeel: Refreshing, medium bodied, and medium carbonation.

Overall: Would recommend. Very traditional like the English style. Got as a taster from distributer in Washington DC

The beer is at cellar temp and poured into a pint glass. The beer pours a hazy gold color with creamy bleached white head foaming up 1 cm and fading to a sturdy surface layer.
Aroma is very mild with some sniffs of fruity esters and a bit of herbal hop character, but overall very mild nose.
First sip reveals a very light body with a thin watery texture. Carbonation is fine and slightly tingly but still goes down the gullet easy on each swallow.
Flavor is briefly mild caramel and some light fruit, but rolls to a drying bitterness. Again herbal flavors are featured in the hop profile. No hints of ABV and the beer is very easy to drink, almost too easy. The body and texture are a little weak on this one, and the flavor could use a umph too, but there arent any tragic flaws or errors in the beer. I wont look for it or buy again, but am glad to have had the opportunity.
