Poured a fairly clear straw color almost with a reddish shade to it, minimal head, little to no lacing, and the carbonation seems lacking. The lack of a head kind of kills the experience for me with this type
The classic aroma was lacking, I smelled mostly fruit, not much in the clove or spiciness that I look for in this type
Taste followed the scent, although I did get some faint banana, still not much clove or spice
Mouthfeel was refreshing enough, but not the same chew that I feel with classic brews from this style
Overall, glad I tried it, but I don't think I will go this one again…too many others. In fairness, the bar served this off tap in the wrong style glass, but I have had other heffes out of a dixie cup and liked them, so I am not a glass snob, just indicating to others that perhaps this was an off batch or something was wrong with the tap. Even so, the flavor was lacking to me.

A: Poured into a Hefe glass. Nice head forms but less than I expect from a Hefe. Slightly cloudy yellow gold. Some but not much lacing.
S: Minimal aroma
T: A mild Hefe taste of bananas and cloves.
M: Light to moderate mouthfeel
O:I doubt I will repeat this one. I think SN Kellerweis is a better option.

S: Nose consists of fruit, banana, clove and bubblegum.
T: Light fruit, citrus, banana & clove favors.
M: Smooth, refreshing and light brew.
O: Good Hefeweizen that is true to style.

Appearance: Pours a nice yellow straw color with 2 finger head. Quickly dissipated into nothing. No lacing to speak of.
Smell: Had to rack my brain for a minute, but its scuppernong! For those of you not from the south, its basically a white muscadine (a species of grape found in the Southern US). When you dig some more, there's typical banana, yeast, and a touch of clove.
Taste: The taste is yeasty, with a good mix of banana, scuppernong, and a little clove. Throw a little biscuit in there too. Very refreshing.
Mouthfeel: Light with crisp carbonation. Slightly drying with a touch of pepper.
Overall: This is pretty good for what it is. It screams for warmer weather and is really refreshing. It seems lighter and a touch fruitier than most Hefes, but it is still a pleasant beer.

Poured from the can into a wheat ale glass.
A truly sunny light lemon yellow colored brew, with an opaque looking appearance. Head is bleach white. Foamy. Three fingers off the pour an falls quickly with a sudsy appearance.
Nose has some peanut butter like senses. Dang crazy yeast strain. Spicy lemon and herb from the bouquet comes as well. Different. But enjoyable.
Palate comes with a slightly wet mouthfeel. Flat somewhat tonic and club soda like carbonation, hinting some nice spritzy lemon qualities to match on the palate. Malt chewy qualities seem to be a little weak, but there's a good amount of spicy clove and nutmeg character coming out which makes it quite distinct on the palate.
Overall decent, perhaps not my ideal Hefe, but it will do.
