Bottle, at the Manneke Pis, Tenerife. ABV was 2.8%. Contains 25% raspberries. Dark red colour, low pink head. Intense aroma of ripe raspberries. The flavour is intensely sweet and sugary, with strong notes of ripe raspberries throughout.

From the 12.7 fl oz bottle in a snifter. This fine lambic
pours a chill hazed dark ruby red with a very nice head
of off white foam that sizzles to a thick ring, thin clumping
layer, and sports subtle lacing. Nose of raspberry jam and
subtle yeast notes with light tart vinegar notes. Flavors surpass
the nose by presentation. Rich raspberry and subtle Belgian
yeast mingle with light tart notes. Nice mouth feel; medium
body, rich, light carbonation, and a rich sweet yet tart berry
finish.
Overall----excellence!
Cheers

From the bottle, it pours a raspberry red color with a modest pink head that soon diminishes to a ring. Lots of raspberry in the nose. The mouth gets the same with a slightly sweet base.

375 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly crystal clear deep ruby red/amber/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, cherry, plum, blackberry, red apple, red grape, fruit jam/skin/seeds, hay, grass, wheat, bread, candi sugar, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of raspberries, fruity yeast, and malt/sugar sweetness; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, cherry, plum, blackberry, red apple, red grape, fruit jam/skin/seeds, hay, grass, wheat, bread, candi sugar, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy raspberries, cherry, plum, blackberry, red apple, red grape, fruit jam/skin/seeds, hay, grass, wheat, bread, candi sugar, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity yeast, and malt/sugar sweetness; with an awesome malt/sour/tart/tangy fruit balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Touch of puckering sourness. Light-moderate increasing dryness from sour/tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/acidic/tangy/tannic, and slightly slick/syrupy balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 2.8%. Overall this is an outstanding sweetened fruit lambic! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity yeast, and malt/sugar sweetness; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Tons of authentic jammy raspberry fruit presence with balanced sweetness. Not as funky on the yeast as expected, but still highly enjoyable. A lot more acidity from the fruit, leading to a drier finish than other sweetened lambics I've had.

What a nice and pleasant drink. Very attractive visually with a pink cap and red body.
Slightly sweet raspberry dominates in both the aroma and flavor.
The lambic qualities are pretty low. Comes across more like raspberry juice than beer. There very little tart and no yeast flavors or nose. There is no bottle dating but another bottle I bought of kriek was bottles 2009, but who knows.
Smooth feel and fairly heavy for such a small beer.

Poured into a pokal, the appearance was a semi-thick dark purple color with an ever so slight transparency about it and a fairly quick run off for a little white foamy head. Not much lace, actually barely any lace.
The aroma had a superb sweet to tart blend of raspberry puree with some light touches of lemon and an eloquent little crisp grassiness in the background.
The flavor initially leaned sweet and ended bringing in subtle hints of tart raspberry. Slight sticky sort of raspberry aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine, somewhat low. ABV felt low and seemed mostly on par for what was projected. Finish was all about the raspberry.
Overall, nice semi-refreshing sweet to tart traits of a lambic confessing the raspberry flowing all in there. Would be a great beer during the Summer.

Gift from Miguel. From Aldi. Labeled as Vieux Bruxelles Framboise Lambic. In Teku glass. After dinner. Not unpleasant, in fact nice. But doesnt seem a beer at all, more like a medicine for kids, like a new "apiretal"

Pours a dark reddish color with pink colored head. Sweet raspberries, jam-like stickiness, and some light funk on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes like a slightly sweet-tart raspberry jam.
