12.7oz bottle served in a snifter.

L - dark brick red color with a pink head that left a sheet of lacing.

S - lots of raspberries, tart and sweet.

T - raspberry dominates the taste, sweet at first but then the tart takes over, good stuff.

F - medium bodied with good carbonation and easy drinkability.

O - a nice treat every once in a while.

This limbic pours out as a red bubbly liquid with a pink fizzy head on top. The smell of the beer is sweet and full of raspberries. The taste is also very sweet and should be drank like a dessert or something. Lots of sugary raspberries in this brew. The mouthfeel is a little thick but still has a good carbonation to it. Overall this could be switched with a Lindaman's and not many people would notice the difference.

A- Ruby red body, big pink bubbly head

S- Raspberry! Not much else to speak of

T- Very raspberry but not sickly sweet, nice tartness mutes and balances the sweet for a well-rounded taste

M- Light and high carb as it should be

D- I like the balance and the no overly sweetness of this brew

25.4 ounce bomber, corked and caged, poured into one of my Stone Double Bastard sampling glasses.

A: pours a bright red hugh, barely translucent, with a thin white head on top. Surprising carbonation level. 3.5

S: tart raspberries dominate the nose. Very natural smelling. 4.0

T: taste follows the nose. Delightfully tart raspberries. Sweet and Sour. A one trick pony, but it does what it says it does... delivers lots of raspberry flavor. Dry finish. 4.0.

M: light and dry, with decent carbonation for the age. Even creams up a little in the mouth. 4.0

D: drinkable and enjoyable. I would have this again, but I wouldn't want to buy it/drink it in large quantities. 4.0

Deep red with earthy brown and copper hues with a quick diminishing 1 inch thick pink and tan frothy head. Little to no lacing. smells of tart raspberries (der!).

My initial taste is that there's very little tartness to begin. followed by the raspberries. I can't detect any bitterness at all. The fruit isnt overly tart and sweet and the flavors are perfectly balanced.

Very light beer, but slightly more carbonated than expected, given the head was so small. As far as drinkability, i could go for seconds or thirds of this beer without hesitation.

375ml bottle poured into an Allagash stemmed glass.

A - Pours a clear ruby red with some yeast floaties marring the clean look. A thick two fingers of slightly dirty pink pillowy foam sits on top and shows excellent staying power.

S - Lots of fresh raspberries fill the aroma, slightly tart, very juicy. A bit of earth, a fair amount of sugary candyish sweetness. Smells pretty good.

T - Sweet up front with tons of raspberry flavor to back it up. Remains sweet and fruity through the middle of each sip and ends with a crisp and clean tartness that only serves to entice you into gulping down the next sip. Another beer that can be classified as a dessert in a glass.

M - Medium bodied, crisply tart mixed with sweet and fruity. Carbonation is ample and very tingly on the tongue, especially when combined with the fruity tartness on the finish.

O - An enjoyable fruit lambic - one with over the top fruit. First time trying this one...surprising given how available this one is. Not the best Framboise I've ever had, but solid quality, enjoyable, reasonably priced and easy to get...sounds like a winner to me - thinking I'll be getting this again in the near future.

375 ml bottle with the large crown cao. $6.35 from Pints O'Plenty.

Appearance: Clear red with a pink head that turns whitish as it fades. Quite a bit of sticky lacing.

Smell: A little tart with tons of sweet raspberry-- like preserves. There is the slightest bit of tangy funk and a hint of acetic.

Taste: Just huge raspberry flavor with both sugary sweetness and a little tartness. Like the smell, just a hint of acetic.

Mouthfeel: Heavy and sticky. Could be a little lighter, spritzier. Finish is sticky sweet.

Overall: I don't want to, but I really like it. My wife called me a girl. If you want a funky, sour Framboise, this is not it. This is a sweet one, but with enough real lambic character that it doesnt taste like Lindemans.

Absolutely delicious. Definitely a dessert drink.. and by that I mean, a drink you have in place of dessert! It was so fresh and tastey.. I had to have three glasses! The aroma of raspberries is overwhelming, and the taste will knock your socks off. Worth a try, as I think it may be one of the best in it's category.
